Grilled Duck Tongue

Grilled Duck Tongue, Honey Market, Bangkok

Grilled duck’s tongue, anyone? Located across the Chao Phraya among the canals and bamboo groves of Samutprakarn, Bangkok’s Floating Honey Market (Talad Nam Bang Nam Phueng) is a great place to try unusual Thai specialty foods. Curious diners can walk among the concrete stands (nothing is actually floating at this floating market), and sample oyster omelets, peanuty satay, or pork flavored with lemongrass and kaffir-lime. The truly adventurous can even taste some gourmet Thai rarities- like the aforementioned grilled duck’s tongue.
