Would definitely seem advisable to put on your smelliest, holiest pair of flip-flops – and not those brand new Nikes – on a visit to a Bangkok wat …

Haha – this exact thing happened to me at an ashram in india with a 2000 baht pair of sandels, luckily the replacements were only 20 baht!
Hi first visit for me. I like the layout of your blog plus some good content and photographs.
I always find it fascinating that my shoes are exactly where I left them. Although I also guess my big size might be off putting. I agree with the comment by Lost in BKK -India is indeed a different proposition!
